Silver Lotus Flower

Description

This is one of my absolute favourite pieces both to make and wear. Each layer is hand cut and textured using a flat-headed hammer, then domed and soldered into the one piece.

The Lotus flower is a symbol of purity and enlightenment, self-regeneration and rebirth. Its characteristics have long been an analogy for the human condition; even when its roots are in the dirtiest waters, the lotus still produces the most beautiful flowers.

The pendant measures around 20mm in diameter.
